Determining the Effect of Process Parameters on Shearing Strength of Rotated Clinching Joint Using the Response Surface Method

Rotated clinching is a novel cold plastic deformation joining process, which suitable for the multi-point simultaneous of sheet metals. However, effect various parameters on mechanical properties joints using rotated remains unclear. The purpose this study to analyse important that affect joint’s shearing strength and relationship between them. relational expression four process (die depth, rotation angle, small fillet radius large radius) joint was established response surface method.
